Join Amici and CampBrain to help #SaveCanadianCamps!
By now, you may be aware that many Canadian summer camps are in jeopardy. Nearly one third of camps will not be able to open their doors next summer without additional support. Which means, Amici campers and campers all across Canada might be left without their beloved summer homes.
That is why the Canadian Camping Association, the Ontario Camps Association and many other partners are asking for community support to help camps make it to next summer – and they need our help!
Today, we are asking you to join with Amici and CampBrain to help #SaveCanadianCamps!
The concept is simple: we want you to serve as a “Camp Counsellor” to run a virtual “Cabin Time” with your camp-loving pals, family members, colleagues, you name it. During this Cabin Time, you lead your squad in a letter writing workshop to invite Members of Parliament to join in the effort to help save Canadian camps. All the materials needed to run your Cabin Time, write letters and spread the word are provided - you just provide the Zoom/Skype/Teams/Facetime call and the camp enthusiasts!
