Thank you to everyone who made Canoe Heads for Kids 2019 one for the history books!
Saturday, June 1 was a record-breaking day! With 160 paddlers, 72 canoes and 80 volunteers, Canoe Heads for Kids 2019 was one for the history books. This year's participants and sponsors contributed to an outstanding $255,000 raised in support of Amici campers and their families.
Though the weather forecast was looking touch and go all week, Mother Nature smiled upon our Canoe Heads with a rain-free day. Just like on trip, expect the unexpected! Our Canoe Heads ventured off on their 15 km trek in support of Amici campers with smiles on their faces and canoes on their heads. Check out photos from this year's urban canoe trip here.
