New Applicants

  • Obtain a New Camper Application form. Download a New Camper Application Form or call the Amici office at 416.588.8026 to request a copy by mail or fax.

  • Fill in the application completely. Please carefully complete all sections of the application form. Incomplete applications cannot be considered for funding. All information is kept strictly confidential.

  • Obtain two letters of reference from people who know your child and can write about why your child would benefit from a camp experience. Examples of good references are: teachers, social workers, coaches, tutors, religious leaders, doctors, daycare workers, etc. Amici does not accept reference letters from family members, or any other member of your household. You can also attach a personal letter to the application, in addition to the reference letters, if you wish.

  • Send in the application as soon as it is completed. Program spaces fill up quickly. Please submit your fully completed application as soon as possible. Applications are date-stamped when they arrive at the Amici office and new camper slots are primarily filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Incomplete Applications: You can send in the reference letters and application form separately, if you wish. The reference letters will be attached to the application once they are received. It is your responsibility to ensure that forms and letters have been completed and sent back to Amici. Because of the volume of applications we receive, we are not able to follow up on incomplete applications.

Returning Campers

  • In the fall, each Amici family will receive a Renewal Application Form for each child. If you do not receive your renewal application form in the mail, please call the Amici office at 416.588.8026 or download the Renewal Camper Application Form.

  • Fill in the application completely, updating all your information from last year – please submit both camper information, and household and financial information, even if this information is unchanged from last year.

It is important that you also let us know about any change of address, phone number(s) or e-mail addresses, so we can get in touch with you regarding your child's application.

Please complete the camper and parent surveys regarding the previous summer's camp experience.
